Chiropractic

Chiropractic physicians are experts in the bio-mechanics of the human body.  They specialize in improving range of motion, correcting muscle imbalances, promoting proper weight distribution, and restoring fluidity of movement.  By creating an environment of proper movement and alignment, the body is able to function at a peak level and combat the effects of tissue injury and inflammation as efficiently as possible.

Dr. Stutz uses a combination of adjustment techniques that are selected based on the individual patient and the condition being treated.  Treatments may include manual adjustments, instrument adjustments, drop table techniques, flexion-distraction/manual traction, and a wide array of other therapy modalities.

Conditions successfully treated with chiropractic care include but are not limited to:

  • Headaches
  • Back Pain
  • Sports Injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Ankle Pain
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Peripheral Neuropathy (ie; numbness, tingling, weakness)
  • Disc Disease

Acupuncture

Acupuncture consists of stimulating strategic points on the body to create a local physiologic effect or change behavior of the autonomic nervous system.   Dr. Stutz has had extensive training in various disciplines of acupuncture, including both Chinese and medical acupuncture.  He incorporates the use of a highly advanced micro-current machine that dramatically magnifies the effects of traditional acupuncture.  Under the proper settings, micro-current applied to acupuncture needles can stimulate the production of enkephalins (the body’s natural pain mediators) and ACTH (the precursor of cortisol, the body’s natural anti-inflammatory agent).  Dr. Stutz has had tremendous success treating a wide spectrum of conditions ranging from inflammatory conditions to infertility

Pedorthics

As a Board Certified Pedorthist, Dr. Stutz specializes in the treatment of foot, ankle, and knee conditions through the use of custom foot orthotics and shoe modifications.  Pedorthists differ from podiatrists in that they design and modify custom foot orthotics themselves, rather than simply sending a prescription to a lab.  Therefore, the devices that Dr. Stutz designs can be modified in house to ensure a perfect fit.  Dr. Stutz’ extensive training in the areas of anatomy, bio-mechanics, and pathophysiology combines to uniquely qualify him to design truly custom orthotics based on the physical characteristics, shoe style, and lifestyle of the individual. By using cutting edge casting techniques and creative modifications, many of which Dr. Stutz personally invented, his treatment of lower extremity conditions with custom foot orthotics is unparalleled.
Conditions successfully treated by Dr. Stutz include:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Metatarsalgia
  • Hammer toe symptoms
  • Osteoarthritis pain
  • Runners knee
